What is a low bed truck?

Low bed semi-trailers are a special type of flatbed truck, primarily used for transporting heavy machinery, rail vehicles, mining machinery, and other large items. The lower the center of gravity, the better the transportation stability and safety. Low bed semi-trailers are suitable for transporting non-detachable items such as excavators, loaders, and harvesters.

Key Features

Extremely low cargo platform design (typically ≤ 1 meter above ground level)

Adopts a concave beam structure or gooseneck traction

Optimized for transporting extra-high/extra-wide construction machinery

Application Scenarios

Construction Machinery Transport: Commonly used for transporting large, heavy equipment.

Industrial Equipment Transport: Long-distance transport of heavy industrial equipment such as rail vehicles and mining machinery (mining and drilling equipment).

Forestry and Agricultural Machinery Transport: Transfer of large agricultural machinery such as logging equipment and combine harvesters.

Oversized Cargo Transport: Suitable for transporting large, non-disassembled cargo such as road construction equipment (such as pavers and cranes), power plant equipment, and steel.

Specialty Transport: Some lowbed trucks have a rollover feature, meeting the specialized transport needs of specialized vehicles (such as fire trucks and rescue vehicles).
